Situated inside of Colombia's famed "Coffee Triangle", the Antioquia region produces some of the finest beans in the world. However, the prolific production of coffee in this region make it difficult for micro-lots, like La Yalena, to garner attention. Farmer Elkin realized this when he first tried his luck with producing coffee. After many attempts and failing a couple times, he completely reinvented his crop to produce the honeyed La Yalena, a name inspired by his daughter, Dana Yalena. A refreshing blend of citrus and jasmine notes with a hint of red-tea flavor, La Yalena is infused with the diligent efforts of Elkin's long journey in specialty coffee.
