Don Isidro produces caturra variety coffee at a very high altitude on his farm, Los Milagros, in the Jinotega region of Nicaragua. The fertile soil, cold microclimate and fresh spring water in the area are perfect for coffee growing. His farm includes many drying racks in order to accurately sort imperfections by hand and prepare his coffee for safe transport down the mountain. Don Isidro has also diversified Los Milagros to include crops such as carrots, cabbage and other vegetables.
